When we decided to build our spa, we decided that it should not be an ordinary spa. Rather, we designed it to rival the best wellness centres of the day.

Aufguss treatment, beneficial for body and mind
The spa at Hotel Formula is one of the very few in Italy to offer the exclusive Aufguss treatment free of charge.
The Aufguss is a ventilation performed by hand while in the sauna. The 'master' Aufgussmeister pours fresh water or ice together with balsamic essences onto the stones in the stove and then, with the help of a towel, directs the steam towards people.
During the entire treatment, you remain in silence to allow yourself to be pleasantly caressed by the gusts of fragrant steam, regenerating body and mind.

MgKI Hydro-massage pool
A pool heated to 32 degrees, indoor and approx. 50 square metres large with 8 hydro-massage jets, 2 geysers, 2 Airlounge beds, soft-walk floor, 8 Millebolle plates for foot and lumbar massage.

Ritual Sauna
A large Finnish sauna heated to 90-100° C with 0% humidity where the essence of woods such as hemlock, cedar and African whitewood make for an extraordinary session to relax and detoxify the body as well as having a remarkable positive influence on the mind.
Nubes Steam Bath
With 45° C and 100% humidity while sitting and being surrounded by Calacatta marble and an impalpable mist. The body will emerge toned and relaxed, the pores dilate and the penetration of the steam will provide shine, elasticity and softness to the skin. Also suitable for certain respiratory ailments. It will feel like being in an ancient Roman thermarium.
Kneipp immersion pool
Not an ordinary course, but a true immersion treatment for the legs, a pool of hot water at 34°C and a pool of cold water at 12°C that will cause a thermal shock and stimulate the circulatory system, eliminating swelling and heaviness, also ideal for combating cellulite.
Ice Fall
A cascade of finely crushed ice to be used as a body scrub at the end of treatments such as sauna or steam bath.
Emotion Room
A room containing two emotional showers alternating in sequence between a tropical thunderstorm and an arctic fog, the experience is also immersive thanks to the use of special essences and colour therapy.
